Our energy

To make a change we need lots of renewable clean energy.

Our Caivano site has used only renewable electricity since 2022 and there are two photovoltaic systems active at the plant, the largest of which (500 kW) is able to meet 15% of electricity demand on its own. But that’s not all: we are currently developing a new area at the plant which will also accommodate a 1000 kW photovoltaic system entirely dedicated to self-consumption.

At Caffè Borbone we procure raw materials and energy on the basis of our real production needs in order to reduce waste to a minimum.
