Our history

1997

Our history dates to 1997 and the launch of the company “L’Aromatika S.r.l.”. After gaining valuable experience in his family’s small coffee roasting company, Massimo Renda identifies the strong potential of the single-serving coffee sector, key to Caffè Borbone’s success.

1999

Thanks to the purchases of the first pod-making machine and the first coffee roasting machine and the creation of a structured sales team, Caffè Borbone S.r.l. is born.

2018

Italmobiliare, an investment holding company owned by the Pesenti family, purchases a 60% stake in the company. Caffè Borbone grows rapidly to become a leading Italian coffee brand.
